Aidan McHugh, Gamedev @ Coatsink.
A bit about me.
I'm a game programmer currently working in the north east of the UK.
I have had an interest in creating videogames for as long as I can remember, carrying said passion into all projects. I have been working in the industry for over three years, working on both contract and commercially developed games.

Life outside of gamedev.
-
I speak multiple languages, English being a native language, and French; German and Japanese all at an elementary proficiency. I am currently learning Polish as a hobby.
-
When not coding, I like to spend my spare time playing games with friends, drawing, playing guitar, and cooking.

I'm also an avid Mets fan and play baseball on a weekly basis. I currently play for the Newcastle Nighthawks Wings team, a recreational/developmental team in the North East Baseball League. In 2024 I helped the team win the league, and in 2025 I helped them reach the league playoffs once more, winning Most Improved Player in the process.
